It prevents rust, corrosion, and limescale formation on all metal surfaces in contact with hot or cold water, including pipes, cooling towers and radiators, spas, hot water networks, steam boiler feedwater, and more. It's much more economical than softening water. Siliphos, placed in special tanks (dispensers) connected to the central water system, dissolves and mixes with the water upon contact. The appropriate dispenser should be selected based on water consumption. It can be connected to the main water inlet or applied locally before steam boilers or closed or open-circuit water systems. When connected centrally, it can be used as drinking water. It has no harmful effects on health and benefits human health due to its low phosphate content (2-3 ppm). In many European countries, siliphos dispensers are centrally connected to city networks, and residents benefit from this water. For every ton of water passing through the dispenser, approximately 3-5 grams of siliphos dissolves and mixes with the water. Siliphos dissolved at this concentration releases 2-3 grams of phosphate (p205) into the water.
